The Centre of Danish Educational History cooperates with researchers, museums, schools, libraries, archives and others engaged in school history. The network shares, communicates and creates contacts nationally and internationally through seminars and conferences, that strengthens the history of school. 500 years of Danish school history

Danish School History. Everyday life, conditions, possibilities and visions for 500 years. A research project at DPU, Danish School of Education, Aarhus University. Acquisition of wallcharts and school photographs

If you are in possession of any wallcharts or school-related photographic material that you would like to donate or allow us to digitize, please contact us. We are always interested in learning more and expanding our existing collections. Be aware that archival material has to be donated to The Danish National Archives or your local archive. 18'th symposium for schoolmuseums and history of education collections

In July 2019, we were pleased to invite interested scholars and other interested parties working with school museums, collections and educational history to participate in the 18th Symposium for School Museums and History of Education Collections.

The 19th International Symposium for School Museums and History of Education Collections will take place in Rethymnon, University of Crete, Greece, in May 2021.

Wallcharts, history and European identity

History Wall Charts is a european collaboration on communicating the history of wall charts. The project allows you to compare pictures from the same geographical area, the same period or thematically. Read more about the collaboration here.
